Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort
If hurricane and earthquake weather in Southern California didn't usher in feelings of fall, I don't know what else will! We survived and I'm excited to share that Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort returns in September!
Beginning Friday, September 1 through October 31, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort commences and Mickey Mouse and his fabulous friends are decked out in their Halloween attire. I always love seeing their new outfits for each occasion! Aside from Holidays, this is my favorite time to visit the Disneyland Resort, there's so much for every family member to experience throughout the day. Check out my highlights from Halloween Time in 2022 on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/18026978722394572/
Disneyland Park
The "Halloween Screams" show lights up Main Street U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, Rivers of America, and the "it's a small world" facade; on select nights, fireworks will join the party and light up the skies! I'm looking forward to strolling onto Main Street U.S.A. and seeing our Mickey pumpkin! Don't forget to visit Jack Skellington and crew to wreck the halls of Haunted Mansion Holiday! I honestly only ride that attraction with "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas" overlay. I love seeing the gingerbread house
Disney California Adventure (DCA)
Head to DCA to see the Halloween Time transformation in Cars Land. Mator's JamBOOree is probably one of my favorite rides in Cars Land! Want some Avengers action in the evening? Definitely hop on Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark. You'll experience a special version of the attraction just for Halloween and it only transforms in the evenings.
Downtown Disney
Be sure to participate in Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit, a fun Halloween scavenger hunt. Purchase your map at a participating location and commemorate your hunt with a collectible keepsake! Make sure to check out various locations that will have fall special offerings (you know, spooky treats).
Día de los Muertos at the Disneyland Resort
September 1 through November 2, Disney and Pixar's "Coco" are also featured at Plaza de la Familia. Guests can also participate in honoring Mexican traditions of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). Families can enjoy family crafts and live entertainment in Paradise Gardens. "A Musical Celebration of Coco" will be presented by Folklórico dancers, Mariachi singers and musicians. Guests can take photos with Miguel and add remembrance notes to the Memory Wall. It's a special time for families to gather and experience magic and share memories together.
