Disney Dreamers Academy (DDA)

For over 15 years, Disney has sponsored a phenomenal leadership and mentorship experience for Black and underserved high school students in the United States called Disney Dreamers Academy. I've had the honor to participate as a parent chaperone to a Dreamer and as media to cover the event. DDA holds a special place in my heart and I felt it was right to give it a permanent place on my site for future applicants, parents, and those who are curious about the magic to easily find! DDA applications typically open in the spring (by the beginning of April) and close in the fall (end of October).
